Educational Tour To Gangotri

Educational tour to uttarkashi District

Every year Department of journalism and mass communication Department organizes Educational tour ;this year Bajmc 5th semester was taken to Gangoti ,Harsil valley and Mukhba village .

So the first place we visit was Gangotri ,Gangotri is the sacred holy shrine known for origin of River Ganges and Majestic Snow Caped Mountains ;In Gangotri there were so many ashrams ,people were doing so many things to earn money like some people were selling shilajit and Kesar ,some were making videos by the drones ,some were pulling stretchers for handicaps.

Gangotri snow capped mountain view was facsimile and memorable ,next trip of our was to Harsil valley ,valley known for it's scenic beauty also known as mini switzerland and it was the area near Indo-china border ,people in Harsil were very simple and sweet ,speaking sino tibetian language ,selling woolen clothes for livelihood, we have tasted authentic momos of Harsil including Harsil Tea ..The valley in Harsil was really giving ambience of Switzerland ,last trip of ours was to Mukhba village ,village known for abode of goddess Ganga during the winters,The village was full of deodar forests and Apple production in th area was on a large scale ,locals of the village were so simple and polite , We saw the local rajmaha of the mukhba village .

It was a memorable experience and we have gained so much experience ,memories and learned so much .
